Lockdown, its attendant restrictions and the subsequent roll out of vaccinations were introduced as measures to preserve public health. If this ostensible reason was not true, what then were the ulterior motives? It seems clear that the lockdowns precipitated an enormous wealth transfer to the already super rich, destroying countless small businesses in the process. Is money and power sufficient to explain the motivations of those who already have seemingly abundant supplies of both?
What reasons do prominent figures provide for the measures initiated from 2020 onwards?
Klaus Schwab, the CEO of the World Economic Forum (WEF) stated,
"The pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world to create a healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous future."
His book Covid-19 the Great Reset had been researched, written, and published by 9th July 2020. Incredibly detailed WEF plans for a reset were appearing online by April 2020.
The plan was launched by Prince Charles, who proclaimed,
The meaning of both these quotes depends entirely on what is meant by the word 'we.' What is 'equitable,' is subjective and what is 'sustainable,' depends on that which one wishes to sustain.
WEF ‘agenda contributor’ Yuval Noah Harari explained that,
“Covid is critical because this is what convinces people to accept, to legitimise total biometric surveillance. If we want to stop this epidemic we need not just to monitor people, we need to monitor what's happening under the skin.”
This royally approved desire for total control makes sense when seen in the context I described here:
“Essentially royalty is a state-sanctioned idea that some people are more important than others. It is an institutionalised form of racism that is woven into the fabric of society. The WEF’s Great Reset exemplifies this view. The WEF is a self-professed elite making decisions on behalf of their human chattle. When Yuval Noah Harari, who acts as a sort of WEF high priest, openly asks in relation to the digital revolution, “What shall we do with all these useless people?” he does not provoke the outrage he might if he inserted an adjective such as black, homosexual, foreign, disabled, old, or poor. Yet he speaks as though with the divine right of kings to act over people who only have use if they are of service to his clique.”
Harari does not explain how surveillance began to go under the skin but he explains the incentives.
Evidently there is a royally endorsed initiative to acquire more control over the human population, to the point of eliminating personal choice, but in this language there also appears another aspect concerning the subjugation of the spiritual realm. Harari makes this competition with the divine explicit.
It's worth quoting Harari at length here to convey a sense of the WEF's intentions.
It is sometimes argued that the WEF is an irrelevant talking shop. Yet WEF CEO Klaus Schwab states unguardedly that their agents have 'penetrated the cabinets' of governments around the world and that the WEF has 'stakeholders' in “business of course as a very important audience, we have politics, we have continuous partnerships with many govts around the world, we have NGOs, we have trade unions...media of course, and very important experts and scientists and academia...religious leaders, we have social entrepeneurs.”

I can't find the words for Harari. But what I will say is this. I read Homo Deus, pre 2020, and before what I would call my own personal awakening. I was a self identifying atheist at the time and had been most of my life, almost militant atheism in the form of Ricky Gervais (who I now see through very different glasses). I was also suffering quite deep depression though I wasn;t quite aware of that. In the state of mind I was in back then, I didn't really see anything wrong with what he was saying, I pretty much agreed with him, which seems abhorent to me now. But the worry is that, while reading he writing makes me want to vomit, I actually think the the majority of people are still where I was 7 years ago and will just shrug and say "yeah, well, he's right though". It's so painful when people have lost all connection to a soul, a real separate soul.
