Your investigatory work has been incredible of late. Its really opened my eyes. These are people who I have followed and supported. But why wouldn't they be subject to infiltration. We think high level characters like Jimmy Carr would be the only type to be working for the bad guys. But people lower down in the rung would be even easier to bribe as they aren't as famous and have less money. Why wouldn't the 77th just throw their weight or a little cash at low level conspiracy theorists given the vast resources they have? I appreciate the irony that my thumbnail in a BoB cartoon. I have now subscribed as you deserve support for this work.

Just posted this on Delingpole’s website,

Can’t believe I’ve been banned from Delingpole’s telegram channels because I believed Francis O’Neill asked some valid questions about Bob Moran, Tania Edwards and Alistair Williams which were not answered. Clearly no dissent is permitted which is strange for a channel purportedly searching for the truth.

O’Neill’s legitimate questions were met with personal abuse by some of the members including the admin Darley calling him an ‘autistic retard’.

Just agree with us and don’t ask any awkward questions or we’ll claim you have mental health issues and ban you. The exact same tactics the Soviets used to purge dissenters.

So it seems Delingpole is probably in the club.

In retrospect it’s obvious. His schooling, all his family are Freemasons. His friends Cameron, Johnson and Gove who he still loves. His son went to Eton.

You had me fooled. Well done 👏

Gwenhwyfar's avatar

Join the club Sean 😂

When you take a step back and look at the tactics used it is obvious. “It is easier to fool people than to convince them they’ve been fooled” also applies to sharklings!

Dan's avatar

I introduced my son to James at an event, 18 at the time. James told him that university was a waste of time and that he shouldn't go.

Which was odd advice with his own son going to Eton. Later when we listened to a particularly narcissistic Delingpod my son said, "Short man syndrome."

So, yeah, being kicked out of "James' private room" is totally OK.

AndreaSalford's avatar

Had us all fooled for a while, but Darley’s cover slipping; I was shocked at some of his, and some other members, nastiness on the telegram chat - who made Darley Head of Right Think?

When were you banned? What was your name/moniker on there? Did he say why you were banned?

Sean O’Connor's avatar

I was shocked too by the venom and nastiness

directed at Francis for politely asking reasonable questions about 13013 Moran.

I was banned last week. Darley said it was because I just used downvoting emojis on ‘anti-James’ posts. This isn’t true. I used downvoting emojis on the nasty pile on against Francis. I was hesitant to say anything in support of Francis because I thought I would be banned like Sophie but I was banned anyway so there you go.

Darley didn’t like I downvoted his posts not Delingpoles. I actually believed they could deal with an alternative opinion but apparently you must agree with everything Darley or Delingpole say or you’re gone.

Delingpole’s argument against responding to Francis’s valid questions were nebulous and piss weak considering he is normally a clear and strong writer.

My name was the same as it is on here.

Gwenhwyfar's avatar

Yes the venom is strong once you question. Lots of sycophants on there who don’t realise it.

My husband showed me a post of his yesterday : “I really don’t like chucking members - my sharklings as I fondly call them - out of the chat group because it makes me look like a bastard and I want everyone to think that I am nice…” 😂

Darley effectively the Delingpole Cult Party Whip. “You will vote only in accordance with our cult party line!”

Not sure if you are aware of the Alex Belfield case Francis?

A sure psyop I think.

He was sent to jail for 5 years for stalking and slandering Jeremy Vine. Out on parole after serving 2 years I think and now back in jail for breeching his parole conditions. His appeal will be livestreamed in November and members of the public are invited to watch providing they send an email to his website - bit of data harvesting going on there I think. Interesting that one of his supporters is Katie Hopkins and when out on parole he encouraged supporters to write to Lucy Connelly in jail! Apparently he was about to go on a march to support Rupert Lowe when he was rearrested!

Francis O'Neill's avatar

Yes, thank you Pete. We are aware of the case and Belfield's connection to the Lucy Connolly story. His is another suspect case.

Top quality research. Must have been hard work listening to Fern for long, he can barely string a coherent sentence together.

Funny coincidence, the Shemiranis are from Brighton too. Kate went on A Thousand Words in Feb 2025 and didn't look or sound like a woman who'd lost a child less than a year previously. Or maybe I'm 'mentally ill' too 🤷‍♂️

Francis O'Neill's avatar

Oh yes there's another one of the Brighton posse.

I noticed that about Shemirani’s demeanour too.

This language is quite distasteful from Jake, but it is very interesting.

who would have thought that the truther movement was, at the top, like this? All talking to each other and propping each other up. And laughing with each other, having quite a nice time until someone asks one or two interesting questions and wow, how things change. The friendly face suddenly contorts. It's all a show isn't it, put on for our distraction. Endless friendly chats with James and Tania, with the latest gossip. all mates here.

The MO seems to be flattery, alternating with brutal nastiness to those who don't get in line.

Great work Francis, and yes Jake seems to have benefited from the covid scam even more than Bob, given his starting position. Which is saying something.

Francis O'Neill's avatar

The people in the movement are limited in number and have a finite amount of time. If we spend that time listening to or reading the work of those who are misleading us, we will never learn what we need to progress. They know that we are creatures of habit who develop trust with familiarity and they use that understanding of our psychology against us. They want us habituated to following clowns who openly mock us with their forked tongues.

And yes these people do seem to be rewarded and many of them appear to be creative. Not without talent, but sold out, hollow, and without soul.

I had not of heard to Jake Fern until he wrote his attack on Francis, which was so full of vile and disgusting rhetoric, it made me think it's only purpose was to shut down the questioning. So I then listened to the two interviews on the Jerm Warfare podcast. As someone else has commented, it was a load of word salad which amounted to nothing of substance. You were left with the feeling that both Jake and Jeremy were either very lightweight thinkers, or were intent on steering their listeners to dismiss anything that probed into the areas that Francis has discussed.

Thank you for your brilliant research Francis and the tenacity to keep asking questions.

Francis O'Neill's avatar

The two descriptions you give of Fern and Nell are not mutually exclusive! But you are welcome, Kathryn. I am glad it is appreciated.

Kathryn Smyth's avatar

That’s a good point, I agree! They’re both aren’t they!

A brilliant, articulate and well thought out piece of writing Francis.

It was only about 3 month's ago that I became more aware of Francis's and as a consequence Leo's work.

After working my way through the big picture podcasts and other writings I have surmised that both Francis and Leo are very much authentic, genuine and trustworthy.

They are refreshingly honest in a truther/freedom movement that is increasingly being exposed for the den of viper's it has maybe always been?

This well researched piece, again begins to show us how the network of so called resistance actually works.

It's like reading a crime thriller that starts to connect the dots revealing how things really are below the surface.

Keep up the great work Francis and please be assured you are not the one with mental health issues!

Francis O'Neill's avatar

Thank you, Pete, I am glad you found us. The freedom movement is much the same as any political field. The mass of ordinary people are largely fine, though infiltrated and those given media prominence and leadership positions are frauds.

Don't worry I don't need reassuring. It will be interesting to see how far we get.

Nettlerash's avatar

Jake Fern, the Fake Jern..alist.

Sorry, had to get that out.

Because yes, Laura, what IS he doing on UK Effing Column? What is he even doing anywhere near anybody else's mic? He has nothing to add. He has as much charisma as a plant-based Guardian reader.

I listened to the Sheep Farm episode of May 2025 (thanks to Claire in the comments for that lead) and after indulging the audience in his niche area of interest (ancient aliens in the Old Testament – no kidding) he exhorts listeners to be in effect eternal fence-sitters with the advice "...don't have a belief system".

So...don't stand for anything, don't believe too strongly in anything, don't fight for anything. And he's clearly leading that charge.

Next, I checked his website. His landscapes seem unremarkable although his skies seem good to my amateur eye. I think he's into sky. I think he spends most of the day staring at the sky, high on his own supply of "Be kind" bullshit mantras and nodding sagely at Delingpolesque WCWAJGA (Why-Can't-We-All-Just-Get-Along) subversiveness.

Then you came along, Francis, and upset this confused hippy's stealth-commie applecart with your QUESTIONS.

He couldn't file them under "Kind" so the only option left was KILL.

Francis O'Neill's avatar

Fern's attitude towards me certainly contrasts with the compassionate, neutral, understanding, respectful disposition he espouses. I forgot to mention in the essay that he also felt it was possible to have a respectful conversation with someone protesting in favour of drag queens reading to children -again, in contrast to the way he has spoken of me.

Nettlerash's avatar

Wow. The relative merits of drag queen story time when he has kids of his own. Isn’t that the Litmus test for the quintessential shitlib?

Kevin Molloy's avatar

yes, it's exactly the message you would want to promulgate far and wide if you were responsible for corralling the resistance. Don't resist, it's hopeless, just sit back and continue doing nothing. It's exactly the same message from Bob, James D et al.

Laura's avatar

It concerns me that Fern is so connected with the UK Column. I have always regarded Brian Gerrish in particular as a decent human being, someone who wants to expose wrongdoings and make a stand for the truth, but having Fern on board calls into question his discernment of the people he surrounds himself with. Fern's reaction to Bob Moran's curious acquaintance with Ed the Techie being questioned and his subsequent attempt to vilify Francis for daring to suggest that Bob might not be all that he seems to be is somewhat troubling to say the least.

Francis O'Neill's avatar

I agree, Laura. UK Column have so far been dismissive of my complaint about Fern's words on Jeremy Nell's show.

AndreaSalford's avatar

🙏 Again excellent analysis Francis. Thank you for patiently pointing out the facts and anomalies. It’s very interesting (telling) that despite the acres of words and pretzel reasoning produced by Fern (and some others) the same simple question you started with, and ended with here, still remains unanswered:

“Again we might ask, ‘what is the nature of Bob Moran’s relationship with Ed the Techie?’”

What upsets them so that they do protest so much?

Francis O'Neill's avatar

Thank you, Andrea. It is very interesting that that question should reveal so much.

Trevor Price's avatar

Massive flak characterising straightforward questions as inFernal and Moranic. Why might that be I wonder?

AndreaSalford's avatar

Yes. It reminds me of the insanity of those around me (2020-2022) that would not and could not accept or understand my refusal to social distance, wear a mask or get a jab.

Most of them do now.

Judith Chantler's avatar

The depth and breadth of Jake Fern’s slandering of Francis is breathtaking.

What he has done in the process is reveal every dastardly thing he ever could about himself to everyone listening and watching. And to Francis of all people who as ever, patiently and forensically shines a brilliant light on this “exercise”.

AndreaSalford's avatar

💯

sakib-sabih's avatar

I just wonder if it would be better to just ignore an obviously unhinged individual that Jake Fern is? This foolish man is being used and he will be abandoned when he is no longer useful. My list of those I can trust 100% is shrinking fast! Stay true to your own self, Francis. My best wishes and prayers.

Francis O'Neill's avatar

Hi Sakib-Sabih, I understand your point and considered it but sometimes it is better to address these things. Thank you for your prayers. I will do my best.

sakib-sabih's avatar

Certainly, you know best what is right for you, Francis. What applies in personal life may not be appropriate in public life where you are surrounded by vipers.

Richard's avatar

Well done for your detailed essay. You are continuing to ask very awkward questions and are somehow managing to keep your integrity and focus in the context of very personal attacks. If someone has worked with a forger, been in a cult for 10 years, and also been traumatised by mental breakdown……..

Francis O'Neill's avatar

Thank you, Richard. The source of the attacks makes them largely meaningless in that respect. And yes, it's a strange story that provokes some ideas.

Dan's avatar

Well done, Francis. I am full of admiration for your ability to pull accurate research together and not stoop to ad hominem attacks even though you have been attacked like that.

Moran is not responding, Delingpole Overton-windowed you off his telegram group, and Jake accuses you of evading proper reasoning through insinuation and emotional framing. And then uses insinuation and emotional framing to protect Moran.

Francis O'Neill's avatar

Thank you Dan, I don't think ad hominem attacks are necessary. I think so little of these people that they don't upset me and their own actions say everything I would like people to know about them.

And yes, they accuse others of what they are guilty.

Brown paper bag's avatar

It boils down to integrity or lack there of. The only person who you know, I mean 100%, is truthful, is yourself.

Keep on keepin on Francis, we're leaving them behind.

Let's burn dust, eat my rubber!

Francis O'Neill's avatar

I very much hope we are leaving these people behind.

Brown paper bag's avatar

Well, they do say we're entering an apocalypse. I believe that is a great “awakening” not, as I used to believe, an end of the world kind of a deal. :)

As an aside, very much enjoyed the show you did with the folks from Edinburgh, laughed out loud a couple of times, just at the incredulity of it all, best wishes Francis and know that chaps such as your good self, are a genuine boost for others.
